Web15 sep. 2015 · Previously, a novel FABP- lcFABP- has been discovered and characterized in the light organ of a Taiwanese firefly Luciola cerata (Goh and Li 2011 ). To our knowledge, this was the first FABP identified in the light organ of fireflies. The lcFABP is 130 amino acids in length and the molecular weight is estimated at 14.4 kDa.
