WebJul 5, 2024 · It started with the update from P3D 5.2 to 5.3. My combination is: ORBX LC EU, ORBX Germany North. ORBX Vector is NOT installed. Strange thing is that the elevation issue can only be seen on the east side of the airport. The further you'll move to the west, the gap between the plane and the displayed ground gets smaller. WebMy theory is that this is related to OrbX removing their Airport Elevation Correction tool from their Vector product, and Flightbeam not updating their code to account for it. Either that, or something specifically related to P3Dv5 itself, that Flightbeam needs to address. It's a beautiful addon otherwise, and I hope they can get this resolved.

WebJun 6, 2024 · Now P3D V4.5 is having elevation problems at a lot of non Orbx airports that I used to solve using the Elevation Correction Tool that came with Orbx Central. Since that tool is gone is there something else I can do to solve that problem? It is a problem where the terrain at many airports is not flattened and so runways are covered with hills.
